G-PET which stands for Glycol Modified PET is a type of resin, otherwise known as PETG. 

It is different from A-PET because it bonds either raw CHDM (Cyclo Hexylene Dimethanol) or NPG (Neo Pentyl Glycol) to PET, and the molecular structure of PET is modified to prevent thermal crystallization. This makes it opaque even when heat is applied during post-processing. It is a transparent modified PET that is manufactured to stay the same.

G-PET prevents thermal crystallization when heat is applied during post-processing, thereby maintaining transparency unlike A-PET, which loses transparency during the bending process. It is also softer, easier to handle, and has better heat adhesion and printability than A-PET.
